Suspended In Reverie—A Sonic Journey of Serenity Amidst Life’s Intensity
San Diego, CA – 05/05/2025 – Bolivian-American music producer and multi-instrumentalist Jerry William is set to release his highly anticipated album, Suspended In Reverie on May 5th 2025. The album, which explores the delicate space between sleep and wakefulness, will take listeners on an immersive journey through serene soundscapes and rhythmic intensity.
Inspired by moments of calmness before a new day unfolds—whether it’s the womb, the waiting room, or the quiet before the storm—Suspended In Reverie is a sonic meditation on life’s liminal spaces. The album will capture the feeling of being fully aware of what’s coming, yet learning to flow with the universe as you step into the unknown. This collection of music is an exploration of the sweet spot before waking up to a new chapter, the precious second of contemplation at dawn or dusk, and the balance between serenity and the intensity of life.
“My music will reflect a "feeling" of Surrealism,” Jerry explains. “It’s about embracing the serenity found in the face of uncertainty, and allowing that moment of peace to ground us as we face the world’s challenges.”
Jerry William’s work has always been deeply rooted in creative exploration and emotional authenticity. Raised in Bolivia and influenced by his childhood exposure to Gregorian chants, Jerry's music draws on both his spiritual upbringing and his passion for contemporary sounds. His performances blend cinematic pads, funky basslines, jazzy chords, and samba grooves, creating meditative soundscapes that captivate listeners and invite them into a reflective state.
Jerry’s journey into music began after leaving Bolivia to pursue his education and artistic ambitions in the United States. A transformative moment in a college choir class at Miami-Dade College awakened his passion for music, which he saw as a personal conversation with the divine. Over time, his sound has evolved into a unique fusion of styles that invite both contemplation and connection.
In addition to his work as a solo artist, Jerry has collaborated with institutions like the Japanese Friendship Garden, co-creating meditative sound experiences, and performed at festivals such as Lucidity in Santa Barbara and Sawdust in Laguna Beach. He is also currently scoring an independent film and continuing his studies in music production at San Diego City College.
The upcoming album Suspended In Reverie is not just a personal reflection of Jerry’s creative journey—it’s an offering to anyone who seeks a glimpse of hope through music. “My audience is anyone searching for a moment of peace, in a world of chaos” says Jerry. “I want my music to give them that brief respite, to spark inspiration and remind them that serenity can be found even amidst life’s challenges.”
Jerry William’s vision for the future extends beyond music. His long-term goal is to surround himself with other passionate creatives to cultivate a space for artistic growth, where individuals can nurture their spirits, reconnect with the present, and share their love for art with the world.
