His performances are characterized by the use of instruments, looper pedals, and electronic layers to craft immersive atmospheres, blending cinematic pads, funky bass lines, jazzy chords, and samba grooves into a contemporary, meditative soundscape. Jerry’s music reflects his deep curiosity and creative exploration. He has collaborated with institutions such as the Japanese Friendship Garden, where he co-created “Fresh from the Garden,” a meditative sound experience with sound healer Titus Baker and yoga instructor John Ortiz. His performances have graced festivals such as Lucidity in Santa Barbara and Sawdust in Laguna Beach, as well as local venues like Malibu Farms and Riff Yoga Studio in San Diego. His passion for music was ignited in a college choir class at Miami-Dade College, where the harmonization of voices reminded him of childhood mornings spent listening to Gregorian chants played by his father. This early exposure to ethereal and spiritual sounds deeply influenced his musical sensibilities.
